About the Campaign

The Happy Tooth Foundation addresses food insecurity in the US so that hungry children have the same chances as everyone else for a healthy, happy life.  There is a great deal of untapped mental and athletic potential talent in our country. So many children are held back from realizing their true potential by income, color, and simple lack of nutrition. 1 out of every 5 children in America rely on public school breakfast and lunch programs to be fed.

I’m dedicating my training to help raise awareness and funds to the food security battle that so many youth in our nation face. My goal is to raise $10,000 which will cover the costs of two campers being enrolled in The Happy Tooth Foundation’s 2018 “Yes, I Can!” summer triathlon camp. Here they will receive two nutritious meals a day while taking on their own training and racing. This camp not only provides access to food, but a sense of camaraderie and achievement that will allow them to enter the next school year thinking, “yes, I can!”

Please join me in the fight against youth food insecurity by donating now. You can donate $1-$3 for every mile I will race in Arizona, or any amount you wish. Every little bit with get us closer to bridging the gap between those who have and those who need.

Thank you!
